The autoloader disc is a required element of jailbreaking your PS5 console on firmware versions 10.20 – 12.00.
The disc contains the POOPS kernel exploit created by Gezine for PS5 firmware versions 10.20 – 12.00, which is triggered when the disc is booted. After this you are presented with a menu to customise your payloads, which can be loaded via USB or internal SSD.
Popular payloads include:
Without this disc you cannot trigger the actual jailbreak. However, your PS5 must have already been jailbroken at least once using an original copy of Star Wars Racer Revenge or one of the Japanese original LUA games. You can find more information about this process here.
After Sony released update 10.20 for the PS5, it was discovered that they had patched the exploit in the Blu-Ray driver stack that allowed users to use a burned Blu-Ray disc to jailbreak their consoles — essentially blocking the ability to boot custom burned Blu-Ray discs.
However, it was later discovered that this Blu-Ray driver could be "unpatched" after jailbreaking the system, restoring the ability to boot custom burned Blu-Ray discs.
To do this you must have first jailbroken your console at least once using Star Wars Racer Revenge or the Japanese LUA games via P2JB, then applied the Blu-Ray unpatching payload.
We supply the burned Blu-Ray disc required to trigger the jailbreak after your PS5 has been unpatched.
